Change is a natural part of life, but we aren’t always prepared to navigate transitions or recover from a loss. Sometimes, it feels like change is forced upon us, as with the loss of a job, end of a relationship or the loss of a loved one. Other times, we work towards creating change or engaging in personal growth but feel stuck in place or worry that we will make the wrong decision for ourselves, our partner or our children. It can be difficult knowing how to transition from one way of living to another. The truth is we all go through times when we need help managing change in one or more aspects of our lives. Life transition counselling can give you guidance, support and a neutral perspective to help you identify and recognise your values, needs and goals, and move forward with increased confidence, focus and direction.

Transition counselling can be a positive, illuminating and fun experience. I provide a safe, authentic and warm space where you can feel comfortable exploring personal, professional and relationship challenges, goals and needs. In life transition counselling my role isn’t to tell you what you should do or how you should do it. Rather, I help you define your own goals and steps you can take to work towards them, so you can walk away from each session with a clear sense of balance and direction. Through this process, you can build your strengths and bring fresh energy and motivation to your work and relationships. And, when you feel equipped and empowered to deal with fear and self-doubt, you can tap into your inner voice for guidance instead of trying to meet other people’s expectations.
